Footnotes
SUIGU BELLE dictated terms up front unopposed along the backside, was headed outside with a quarter mile to run, dug in tenaciously inside in mid-stretch clinging to the lead, drifted out driving to the wire in the late stages but prevailed at the wire for the close win. PRETTY GOOD JOKE had a tracking role inside a rival down the backstretch, moved in to bid outside at the quarter pole, battled determinedly outside going head-to-head down the lane, was pushed out by the winner inside pushing to the finish in deep stretch but was denied at the finish line in tight stretch battle. DANCETOTHERHYTHM travelled in mid-division all alone while in the four path along the backside, advanced four wide around rivals through the turn, angled to the five path having a clear run outside horses at the top of the stretch, rallied into third by the furlong marker and wasn't done yet, closing in late to be in the conversation for the place photo at the finish line as well. GRETNA GREEN stalked close to the back of the pack between runners, held her own in the three path having rivals on either side midpoint of the turn, moved closer to be in the mix four wide in upper stretch but could only finish up evenly garnering a minor share in the end. KIMBERLINA had the outside watching the pacesetter down the backstretch, came under a ride going the wrong way three wide between horses at the five sixteenths pole, could see the field at the quarter marker and showed a little interest down the lane passing a weary foe in the final sixteenth. CHEAT THE DEVIL had a sluggish start trailing down the backside on the fence, inched up saving all the ground midway on the bend, continued the rail trip turning for home with a chance for a piece of the prize inside rivals but failed to fire in the final furlong. RIDERS CLAIM OF FOUL#2 PRETTY GOOD JOKE AGAINST #3 SUIGI BEELE THROUGH THE STRETCH WAS DISALLOWED
