GOOD SIN prompted the pace three wide in the beginning, settled outside another in the middle of the pack down the backstretch, started to gain on the leader when nudged for more at the quarter pole, rallied sharply three wide turning for home between runners, switched leads finding another gear at the furlong marker and under a well-timed late run got up in the shadow of the wire for the score. CHANCEL was loose on the lead on the first turn, moved well uncontested up top along the backstretch, travelled comfortably with no rivals in sight through the final turn, continued on by a good margin at the furlong pole, was under a busy ride hearing hoofbeats in deep stretch but was just caught on the outside at the finish line. MEHLEK was allowed to settle inside sharing the rear in the early part, lagged behind the field down the backside, made a sharp move circling around horses three wide midpoint on the final bend, had a full head of steam four wide outside rivals straightening out for the drive and was flying home late but just missed getting to the top pair at the finish line a picture. SAMMY STONE hopped at the break spotting the group, improved splitting foes in the first turn to be all alone tracking the loose leader down the backside, made no gain chasing the frontrunner on the second bend, could not quicken inside foes who were making a rally at the top of the stretch and ran on one paced in the final furlong to be a fringe player in the end. LAUGHING OUT LOUD pressed inside at the start, was taken hold off losing inside position being brushed outside midway on the first turn, travelled in midfield on the fence along the backside, regressed to the rear with a quarter mile to go and could not factor inside in the late running. OUR FLAG FLYING co-trailed on the outside in the beginning, had a stalking position outside ahead of one runner along the back straight, made little movement between runners around the final bend and emptied out in the three path at the top of the stretch.
