MYSTIC SONG improved down the backside making a quick move getting better position on the fence sitting in midfield, was poised inside another rival waiting for the cue to go while watching the engaged duo through the turn, shifted just outside two wide coming with a run in upper stretch, darted between horses at the sixteenth pole taking over control and won going clear at the finish line. TEQUILASOUPERNOVA veered in on the break, settled into stride well in hand flanking the pacesetter outside down the back straight, inched up on the outside around the bend when nudged for more at the quarter pole, seized command three wide at the top of the lane, was collared inside by the winner with a sixteenth to go offering little resistance and just lasted at the wire saving the runners up share. CRUMLIN FASHION was keen under a hard hold seeing the field coming up to a rival at the half, moved off the fence making little impact outside runners on the turn, shifted out five wide for the drive to the wire and had strong late energy finishing up quickly to just miss out on the place share at the finish line. FLORIDA VACATION was forced in by the outside rival on the break, recouped quickly inside to have the lead by the half, continued holding on inside up top while hound throughout the turn, relinquished the lead on the rail in upper stretch and faded on the fence in the final sixteenth of mile holding in the end for a minor role. MONTY'S INN stalked on the rail ahead of one runner in the early stages, closed in smartly hugging the fence in the mix straightening out for home, was steadied sharply losing the inside lane coming up to the sixteenth pole costing her all the momentum and could not recover in time to factor late. CUPIDS BEST ARROW prompted the pace three deep along the backside, tracked the lead pair outside in the second flight on the turn, bore out at the quarter pole to be widest in the seven-path turning for home, stayed on the wrong lead down the lane and could not be involved in the late running.
