DECADENT DANISH was lightly bumped into a rival at the start, was prominent early, stalked from outside into the turn going two to three wide, bid at the top of the stretch, edged clear by mid-stretch, came out through mid- to late-stretch and just held. NEXT PITCH was lightly bumped at the start, settled inside at the rear, came out four to five wide at the top of the stretch, made a steady bid gaining on the leader but just missed. SOUTHERN STYLE broke inwardly bumping a rival lightly at the start settled off the pace outside, took closer order stalking three to four wide on the turn, loomed a threat in mid-stretch, could not kick on with the top ones and was in a bit tight right at the wire. UNIQUE POWER was encouraged forward inside to take the lead, set the pace inside, lacked the needed late kick. WILD CARD broke just a bit awkwardly, was prominent early but under a hold and taken back from between runners stalking in behind and between, failed to rally. TWENTYTWO SOLES was lightly bumped at the start, tucked in early and moved up inside to track just in behind the leader, was encouraged along by the seven-sixteenths, weakened in the stretch.
