Footnotes
RED PHARAOH was hustled early to be loose up top along the backside, rolled along under little pressure around the oval, was headed briefly outside at the top of the lane, drifted out under left-handed asking switching leads clearing away at the furlong pole and improved the margin of victory in deep stretch. BUCYK tracked the leader outside in the beginning, took closer order between foes at the half, was poised on the outside measuring the pacesetter throughout the turn, bid for the lead three wide looking to be the only threat turning for home, could not match strides with the winner by the furlong pole and finished up strong enough to be well ahead of others for the runners up share at the wire. PIN BOY shared the back on the inside along the backstretch, came with a run in the three path with rivals on both sides midway on the turn, shifted to the four path but was no match for the front pair who had it to themselves through the lane but did close belatedly outside staying on the incorrect lead to be a distant third at the finish line. WESTMINSTER had a stalking trip near the rear going down the backside, settled between rivals in the two path part of the back quartet running around the turn, dueled for the show money two wide with rivals on either shoulder in upper stretch, drifted in slightly at the furlong pole and finished up mildly to be a fringe player in the end. TIGER TOWN travelled high headed in mid-division outside early down the backstretch, settled down advancing by the half to track the pacesetter outside, was hard ridden but could not keep up to the contesting duo at the five sixteenths pole and wilted between runners in the three path by mid-stretch. ALPHA KADIN co-trailed on the outside, made little headway taking the overland route four wide outside horses around the bend, swung out widest in the six path for the stretch drive but showed little in the late running. DROP YOUR GLOVES tracked the pacesetter inside another in the beginning, dropped back slightly at the half, took the short way around keeping up with outside rivals who were trying to commence a rally on the turn, skimmed the fence improving at the top of the stretch, appeared to be in tight quarters on the rail having to be checked leaving the furlong pole losing all momentum while dueling for third inside and could not be a factor late.
