CAPTIVATING NAME had a nice set-up tucked in on the rail watching the engaged duo in the early stages, sat poised measuring the lead pair midway through the final bend, shifted out coming on making his presence felt outside three wide in upper stretch, drove by taking control by the furlong marker and was kept to the task late holding comfortably for the win. SWAN LAKE travelled outside another tracking the front twosome, dropped back slightly at the half with an outside for making an early move, started to come with a rally two wide at the five sixteenths marker, stalled for a moment losing its run losing his path three wide turning for home, shifted out four wide getting a clear lane at the furlong pole and was closing in late to best the rest for the runners up share. GOOD SIN hounded the frontrunner outside in the first half of this two-turn event, started to inch away seizing command outside midway along the last bend, had the two path bracing for the outside challengers at the top of the lane, had no answer when the winner powered by at the eighth pole and just lasted inside at the wire holding for the third place share. PET SOUNDS hopped up on the start, settled at the tail end being a joint last two wide on the initial bend, made an early move advancing three deep down the backside, was pushed out trying circle foes five wide on the last bend at the quarter pole, remained in the five path in with a chance for a piece of the prize in upper stretch and finished up mildly closing in for third but settling on the fringes instead at the end. ARMINO shared the rear on the rail in the beginning, trailed the compact group at the half mile pole, was nudged on for more on the fence seeing the field around the far turn and showed good late interest between rivals in deep stretch but was on the wrong end of a three-way finish for the show money. ALLEY OOP JOHNNY had a slim lead on the inside on the first of two turns, kept a head in front on the rail continuing to set a soft early pace down the backstretch, was driven on but surrendered the lead outside at the five sixteenths pole, skimmed the fence trying to counter for a moment at the top of the stretch but had little left late folding inside horses at the furlong marker.
