SUNDAY FINERY had a nice set-up all alone on the rail watching the field of three runners fighting it out up top in the early stages, galloped along well held quite within striking distance of the contesting threesome down the backside, shifted out reaching for more ground at the five eighths pole, cruised along three wide picking up runners effortlessly at the three eighths pole, opened up with ease when scrubbed for more at the quarter marker and ran up the score down the stretch drawing away by many in the final furlong proving much the best at the finish line. MARCH broke inwards on the start, vied between horses three wide for the front end in the beginning, still pressed the pace with rivals on either side down the backstretch, dropped back off the lead duo by the half, was urged right-handed trying to keep up seeing the lead three rivals at the three eighths pole, rebid passing a tired inside foe at the quarter pole, angled to the five path but was no match for the dominant winner but could to fight on and moved in to be a distant second best by the sixteenth pole. WORTHY PARK was bumped by the inside runner on the start, had the lead on the rail while pressed by two rivals around the first turn, edged clear up top on the fence down the backside by the half, was driven on for more when collared outside by the winner at the five sixteenths pole, offered little resistance by the quarter pole surrendering the lead and faded inside in the last eighth of a mile giving way battling for the runners up share. WINNING JEWEL argued for the front end going five wide heading into the first of two turns, continued to prompt the pace outside two foes three deep down the backstretch, could not continue on with the lead pair going the wrong way midway through the second turn, had little left being relegated to last with a quarter mile still to run and cantered home on the fence through the lane.
