Horses not originally nominated may be supplemented at the time of final entry by a non-refundable fee of $12,500 which includes the entry fee (Supplements). FIRE AND WINE set the pace on the inside racing with a clear lead, was pressed along by IMYOURMEDICINEMAN on the backside, opened up on the far turn, responded when roused in upper stretch and pulled away under urging for the win. BOND MARKET raced off the pace inside, dropped far back on the backside, advanced on the turn, rallied on the rail in the stretch run, angled out in midstretch, finished well but second best. BUIUM raced two wide off the pace, advanced on the far turn, rallied four wide into the stretch, closed mildly outside and earned the show award. IMYOURMEDICINEMAN pulled in the early stages while close up four wide, then stalked close up to the winner, pressed that rival on the backside, bid between foes on the far turn, rallied mildly between, steadied slightly behind BOND MARKET near the eighth pole and continued evenly for fourth. KATIE'S GRACE settled well off the early pace, advanced on the turn, rallied three wide into the stretch, bid and was outkicked. KEEPMYPOWDERDRY raced off the pace inside, chased inside on the turn and tired. After a Stewards' Inquiry and Jockey Objection by the rider of the fourth place finisher against the runner up, the race was declared official.
