Footnotes
REGAL MOMENT was situated in the three path outside foes in mid-pack around the initial bend, settled outside runners content watching the lead duo down the backstretch, began to reach for more ground splitting horses at the five sixteenths pole, closed into be in the mix inside turning for home, darted up the fence with a furlong to go and edged away in the stretch for the win under a savvy ride. NEENAH travelled three wide keeping a close eye outside the lead two, edged up outside horses from the third flight down the backside, moved closer to the frontrunner taking the second position midway on the last turn, was in the thick of things four wide at the top of the lane, kept grinding away through the stretch but could not match strides with the winner in the last sixteenth of a mile. STARSHIP SERENITY had rail position close to the back of the pack, made a smart move four deep advancing outside runners at the seven sixteenths pole, continued to move well three wide around horses in the last turn, angled five wide in upper stretch and with a good long sustained rally kept finding more to capture the show money at the finish line. SHADE OF PALE travelled in mid-division on the rail in the beginning, made little movement inside foes along the backside, came with a run three wide between rivals at the quarter pole and finished up mildly four wide in the drive to the wire for a minor placing in the end. LADY IZZY was nestled on the rail forwardly placed watching the lone speed along the back straight, regressed on the fence in the far turn lacking running room stuck behind a weary foe midway on the far turn, had clear run shifting out three wide at the top of the stretch but lacked a rally inside horses in the final furlong. DESIGN DIVA was on the outside close to the back early on, closed the gap in the three path outside foes at the half, attempted to make a circling four wide move on the last bend but to no avail and could not get involved angling to the five path in upper stretch. LADY IONA was loose up top setting a lively pace early on, rolled along still moving briskly unchallenged down the backside, maintained a shrinking advantage on the far turn, shifted three wide clinging up top turning for home, offered no resistance when collared on each side by runners coming to the eighth pole, faltered in the late running and was not persevered with in deep stretch. PEACE POSEY was in tight being forced in by the outside rival on the start, trailed the field on the first of two turns, lagged well behind the pack on the final bend but did show some spark passing tired foes in deep stretch. RELOAD EH was bumped on the outside soon after the break to settle close the the back having the fence, made no progression on the rail along the backside , still could not make any headway around the far turn and could not factor in the stretch running travelling in the three path. TABEI tracked the leader outside into the first turn, chased the hot pace along the backside, had nothing left to offer back pedaling on the fence at the five sixteenths pole and wilted on the rail by the furlong marker.
