Footnotes
PRIVATE LABEL assumed command utilizing the inside post into the first turn, had a slight advantage slowing the pace down moving well within himself down the backside, was let out a notch spurting clear by the five sixteenths pole and kept on going, increasing the margin of victory through the stretch. ITS IN THE CARDS was sandwiched between horses on the start, angled in from the three path entering to turn to get to the rail in midpack halfway through the initial bend, settled iin midfield isolated down the back straight, looked for running room on the final bend, pushed through making a seam coming with a rally three wide in upper stretch, could not threaten the dominant winner late but did run on smartly to the end just getting the runners up share at the finish outside. STRATUS had a good spot drafting behind the leader on the fence in the early stages of this two turn race, edged up going into second position on the far turn, posed the main threat in upper stretch, could not get to the winner who had more to offer by the furlong marker and just got nabbed outside for the place share coming to the wire. LOST STAR veered out being taken a hold of on the break to trail in the beginning, stalked outside another near the rear down the backstretch, advanced four to five wide outside runners on the last turn, swung out to the six path turning for home and finished up willingly outside challengers settling for a minor role while in the battle for second money at the finish line. HOLIDAY SNOOZE broke inwards on the start, was in tight quarters between horses with the outside runner angling in midway on the first turn, settled close to the back inside foes by the half, made little headway taking the short way around the last bend and had some late energy skimming the fence through the stretch drive. WELLER GREEN stalked on the rail after the break, was steadied sharply on the fence midway through the first turn to see the field when entering the backstretch, angled out six wide for the stretch run and finished with interest passing rivals down the lane. THOR'S CAUSE settled in mid-division early on, took closer order to be in the conversation on the front end with a half mile to go between rivals, had enough by the midpoint of the far turn when backing away between runners and emptied out two wide at the top of the lane. FUN FELLA travelled six wide into the first turn, kept moving forward four deep outside rivals to be in the mix up top by the half, continued the outside journey going four wide keeping pace around the last turn until the quarter pole and had little left to offer between horses by upper stretch. HUMAN DESIRE pressed the issue outside in the first turn, shadowed the frontrunner between foes down the backside, chased the winner in vain through the last turn while just off the fence and faltered three wide between horses by the furlong pole. STEWARDS INQUIRY PLUS RIDERS CLAIM OF FOUL #3 WELLER GREEN AGAINST #7 ITS IN THE CARDS IN THE RUNNING AROUND THE FIRST TURN RESULTED IN #7 ITS IN THE CARDS BEING DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED SIXTH FOR INTERFERENCE
