Footnotes
WORLDLY CHARM had a great seat up getting to the rail quite relaxed while all alone watching the engaged lead pair, sat poised measuring the contest duo through the turn, shifted out three wide coming to the leaders, loomed a menacing presence in the four path outside at the top of the stretch, did not switch leads in the drive but still kept on coming and relentlessly wore down the stubborn frontrunner inside in the final seventy yards for the win. TUSCANY ROSE had a slim lead while shadowed outside by a runner, continued on up top on the fence through the turn with pressure still being applying outside, angled to the two-path holding on from a couple of outside rivals in upper stretch, kept finding more when roused at the furlong more but could not fend off the winner in the late going and gave way grudgingly inside with seventy yards to go. CLASSIC LINES rated kindly in the third flight on the outside, was roused for more keeping pace with the lead trio in midturn, moved out to the five path in with a chance for a piece of the prize and finished up with good energy to be a clear but distant third. BOURBON MOJO was forwardly placed leaving the chute, had the rail position shuffled back just a touch in mid-division by the half, crept up taking the shortest way around the turn, shifted out briefly two wide at the quarter pole, skimmed the fence in the mix by mid-stretch and finished up to capture a minor placing in the end. MARIA SOFIA pressed the pace on the outside down the back straightaway, inched up even closer on the turn outside making a bid at the quarter pole, was in the thick of things between two others in upper stretch but could not continue on in the final furlong and faded between horses by deep stretch. TOUCAN TANGO settled near the rear on the inside, made no progression travelling two wide around the bend, hugged the rail turning for home but failed to menace in the stretch drive. GHOST STRIKER was void of early foot trailing in the early stages, came under a drive but was narrowing the margin on the group four wide at the quarter pole, remained in the four path foe the stretch running but could not get into contention outside. SKYLIGHT SERANADE had rivals on either side sitting in midfield, dropped back at the half, was a long last throughout the turn, lost touch with the pack by upper stretch and cantered on home. LIAM'S RIDDLE settled near the rear while three deep on the outside, took an awkward step at the nine sixteenths pole, was eased up by the half mile marker and left via equine ambulance.
