Footnotes
BREATH AWAY (GB) was allowed to find her stride co-trailing inside another down the backstretch, hugged the fence edging up in hand through the far turn, shifted out from the rail in upper stretch to be five wide gathering speed at the furlong pole and was full of run, storming home in deep stretch to just get up for the win in the last few jumps under a well-timed late rally. CAITLINHERGRTNESS rated kindly outside in the second flight watching the contesting duo along the backside, moved in sharply when nudged to go forward three wide at the midway point of the far turn, seized control three wide at the top of the stretch with the rider still in the saddle, opened up at the furlong pole when encouraged right handed, was kept to the task to the wire but just could not fight off the late surge by the winner outside at the finish line. READY FOR SHIRL settled outside another sitting in mid-division, began to pick up the bit when urged for run three wide outside foes at the five sixteenths pole, was in the thick of things in the four path in upper stretch, could not get to the leader with a furlong remaining but did finish up willingly in the late running to capture the show money. FIVE TOWNS (GB) had the rail position in midfield, travelled in the three path between foes making little movement on the far turn, shifted to the six path at the top of the lane and ran on mildly outside horses in the final eighth of a mile to get up for a minor share in the end. MO FOX GIVIN tracked the pacesetter outside on the first bend, moved in to prompt the issue outside down the back straight, vied between runners getting the head advantage for a brief moment midway on the last turn, still was in the mix surrendering the lead two wide straightening out for the drive but could not find more late and wilted on the fence in the last sixteenth of a mile. DISTANT WINTER (SAF) was nestled on the rail in the second flight moving in hand, was roused for more at the quarter pole keeping pace between horses in mid-pack on the turn, had a chance three wide for a small share at the top of the lane but could not factor late being one paced in the final furlong. HURRICANE CLAIR assumed the lead just off the fence into the first turn, had company outside pressing the pace down the backstretch, was collared while under a ride outside by a couple of runners at the five sixteenths pole, offered little resistance on the fence in upper stretch and folded inside horses at the furlong marker. QUEENS COMMAND (IRE) stalked four wide initially close to the back of the pack on the first of two turns, travelled three deep in the third tier down the back straight, was under a drive four wide holding position in midfield at the three eighths marker, swung out widest in the six path turning for home but showed little in the late running. HOPE MISSION was unhurried seeing the field on the first turn, co-trailed on the outside down the back straight, moved out three wide trying to make a run with the field tightly bunched at the three furlong pole, shifted to the four path for the drive but could not offer a closing finish in the late stages.
