Footnotes
ONEHOTMESS rated kindly in the second flight on the outside, was in a good spot isolated behind the engaged pair when the field sorted itself out under the wire for the first time, continued on galloping along all alone measured the lead duo down the backside, moved out at the half taking closer order, pounced three wide at the five sixteenths pole around a couple of rivals, shifted to the four path well in control in upper stretch and ran up the score drawing away smartly in the final furlong. JUST IN TOUCH had the rail sitting close to the back, could see the field entering the backstretch for the final time, made a good move for position coming on at the seven sixteenths pole, sat two wide behind the contesting trio midpoint of the far turn waiting to move, had a clear lane in the three-path taking the final corner coming with a sharp rally but could not threatening the winner who was long gone up top by the furlong marker and easily bested the rest for the secondary share. GOLDEN HARVEST was unhurried at the rear just off the fence with a circuit remaining, travelled three wide on the second bend, improved position three deep along the back straight, had to go around foes four wide still making a run on the final bend, swung out widest being brushed inside six wide at the top of the lane, could not threaten the lead two runners down the lane but did show grit to just win the duel outside for the show money. SCOTCH MIST settled in mid-division on the outside, made no movement between foes down the backside, was scrubbed on three wide trying to make a rally splitting horses at the quarter pole, was in tight being bumped between foes in the five path straightening out for the drive, kept fighting inside but was just outfinished late for the third place share. REALLY BIG SHOW shadowed the pace outside, moved in making a brief bid for the lead between rivals two wide at the midpoint of the far turn, gave way arguing for the top spot four wide in upper stretch and yielded to others having little run left by mid-stretch. UNFORGETTABLE FACE (IRE) pulled the rider to the lead under a snug hold, set the pace on the fence while hounded outside throughout, maintained a slim advantage inside two other rivals at the five sixteenths pole, was no match for the winner giving up the front end shaving the final corner and had little to give in the stretch run folded inside foes by the furlong pole. SOLVE (IRE) had the rail sitting in midfield early on, was relegated to last on the fence down the backside for the final time, lagged well behind the group unable to get into gear on the last could and could not factor in the drive to the wire.
