Footnotes
EMPIRICIST broke inwardly bothering rivals at the start, moved forward and stalked from mid-pack outside, came into upper stretch six wide, bid a sixteenth out and edged past. AUTHENTIC GOLD was forwardly-placed inside tracking into the turn, was put to urging past the five-sixteenths, tipped out a bit in upper stretch, bid near the sixteenth pole but was outfinished. VINTAGE VELOCITY was bothered at the break, raced well back of the leaders, asked for run coming to the quarter pole, angled nine wide into upper stretch, floated in and out slightly but was gaining very fast albeit too late. LOGAN'S THUNDER moved forward inside to the lead after the opening three-sixteenths, set the tempo from inside, shook clear leaving the turn, lacked the needed late kick. FORZA stalked from mid-pack taking closer order on the turn going three to four wide, was ridden past the three-eighths, got within range coming to the top of the stretch but flattened out. PATRIOTWAVE had the early lead from outside then pressed the new leader at the five-and one-half, went two to three wide on the turn, weakened in the stretch. KING IN TOWN was bothered at the start, ridden along three furlongs out racing four to five wide on the turn, failed to menace. MARKET CLOSED was off the pace and off the rail, shifted in nearer the fence on the turn, failed to menace. PERMANENT ACCESS bumped a rival at the start, chased from between foes, dropped back and faded. LUMINEER pulled forward a bit along the inside racing mid-pack into the turn, failed to rally. TUCKAMORE dropped well back, was pulled up and walked off. FOLLOWING AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF VINTAGE VELOCITY AGAINST EMPIRICIST ALLEGING INTERFERENCE AT THE START NO ACTION WAS TAKEN AND RESULTS TO STAND AS IS.
