Footnotes
INDY ONE was tucked in drafting behind the pacesetter, waited behind the embattled foursome poised to make a move at the quarter marker, shot thru on the fence at the eighth pole and was kept busy fending off the runner up in deep stretch. UNCAPTURED MOMENT tracked the engaged pair outside down the backstretch, was nudged for more closing the gap on the turn, rallied to poke his head in front between foes three wide with horses four abreast at the quarter marker, dueled through the stretch but was just outkicked by the inside winner in the last furlong, easily besting the rest for the place share. JAMIESTA was void of early foot trailing along the backside, closed in to catch up to runners three wide on the outside with a quarter mile from home, swung out widest in the six path in upper stretch, had a good sustained rally outside horses through the lane and got up right at the wire for the show money. YOUR VALENTINO travelled in midfield outside another, settled into stride three wide outside foes in the second flight on the bend, closed in smartly to bid four wide up front at the quarter pole, angled to the five path having clear run dueling outside rivals turning for home, was no match for the lead duo by the furlong pole and was nabbed outside by the late runner for the third place share at the finish line. SILENT MIRACLE had a slim advantage inside down the back straight, continued up front having a head up top on the rail setting an even tempo around the bend, still remained stubborn holding onto the lead two wide with rivals bearing down on either side in upper stretch, had little left for the late running and yielded by the sixteenth pole. GUILDSMAN (FR) had the rail stalking inside, saved ground making no gain around the bend, shifted three wide at the top of the lane but lacked a rally inside runners in the stretch drive. AWESOME CRUSADER had a stalking role outside down the backstretch, was checked in tight between foes trying to commence a run at the seven sixteenths pole, made little impact trying get back into gear through the turn, moved out four wide turning for home but failed to menace down the lane. SILENT FORTUNE prompted the pace on the outside, inched even closer through the turn to vie between foes up top at the quarter pole two wide, remaining in the mix in the three path straightening for home but faltered between runners by the furlong pole.
