Footnotes
COUNTRYBOYSURVIVE had the lead getting to the rail easily on the first turn, slowed the tempo down loose up top along the backside,, still was galloping along unopposed still get a breather through the last turn and under a well rationed ride had more when asked to hold comfortably at the wire for the gate to wire score. SILVER RALEIGH had a good position drafting just behind the pacesetter, waited to move on the fence in the final turn, scraped paint turning for home posing the main threat, shifted out in the two path at the furlong pole and chased the winner home in deep stretch just lasting for the second-place share at the finish line. SPRUNG LOOSE settled into a good rhythm ahead of a couple of runners in the beginning, made little progression inside along the back straight, was poised behind the tracking threesome on the last bend, had no running room at the quarter marker, picking up the bit smartly on the fence at the top of the stretch, shifted to the three path late and with on final surge just missed for the runners up share outside at the wire. ETHNIC SOUL was unhurried at the rear on the first turn, still could see the group along the backside, shifted off the rail with five sixteenths from home coming with a run four wide at the quarter pole, shifted out five wide in upper stretch, darted back inside in the two path at the furlong marker making a late charge and finished up to be a fringe player in the end. RIDE FOR THE PURSE broke out on the start, stalked on the outside close to the back of the pack, had a mild spurt four wide around horses at the quarter pole, swung out widest in the six path in upper stretch but lacked a rally outside foes in the stretch running. COMPTON was brushed inside on the break, settled on the outside in midfield, took closer order three deep at the half, had a brief turn of foot circling three wide midway on the far turn, still was holding in the mix three wide at the top of the lane but had little left for the drive and folded by the sixteenth pole. GOTME GOOD was under a good hold watching the pacesetter outside in the early stages, was asked for more run between rivals in the two path at the quarter pole, offered little response and emptied out in the four path in upper stretch.
