Footnotes
PRINCESS JADE had good position tucked in on the rail behind the leader, was nudged along for more on the fence at the quarter pole, angled out three wide coming with a rally having aim on the pacesetter at the top of the stretch, kept gaining by the furlong pole outside and edged away for the win in deep stretch. ORIENT BEACH dictated the pace loose up top in the early stages, increased the advantage when shook up for more at the quarter pole, still was in command just off the fence with a furlong to run but gave way grudgingly to the winner between foes in the final seventy yards. AFLEET FLATTER tracked the frontrunner between rivals entering the first turn, was shuffled back in the three path into the backstretch stalking close to the back, made little progression by the half, rallied sharply around horses four wide at the quarter pole, swung out widest full of run turning for home, was allowed to drift inwards to the rail under left handed asking at the furlong marker closing in and just missed getting up for the place share while not that beaten that far for the win as well at the finish line. TAP MY DESIRE was pinched on the break, travelled three wide near the rear on the outside into the first turn, pulled the rider closer going four deep along the backside to sit in midfield by the half, was roused three wide at the three furlong pole outside foes trying to keep pace with the front pair on the far turn, moved to the four path at the top of the stretch and finished up mildly on the rail in the final eighth of a mile to garner a minor placing in the end. HANDSINTHEAIR broke in at the start, watched the leader while three wide outside foes on the first turn, moved in to shadow on the outside down the back straight, could not keep up to the frontrunner while encouraged right-handed at the five sixteenths pole, had a chance four wide for a small share of the prize tuning for home but tired by the furlong marker. BOSS LADY J stalked close to the back between runners, lagged behind the group midway down the backside, saved ground on the far turn passing a rival inside at the quarter pole but could not get further involved in the stretch running. SILLY RISK had a poor start to trail the field in the beginning, was very headstrong fighting the rider between rivals on the first turn, settled in stride near the rear with horses on either side just off the fence along the backside, was urged for more midway on the far turn but was going in the wrong direction and had nothing to offer two wide at the top of the stretch.
