Footnotes
ADORABLE ANGEL was in hand tracking the front two going three wide down the backstretch, moved in smartly when asked for run at the quarter pole, loomed menacingly three wide outside the two main rivals at the top of the stretch, grinded away on the leader by the furlong pole getting a head in front and inched away to hold on for the win at the wire. LITTLE LOLA was away sluggishly trailing in the beginning, improved down the backside to be in a good spot at the half all alone watching the engaged front trio, closed the gap when nudged for more on the fence in midturn, battled between horses in the thick of things two wide in upper stretch, dropped back slightly coming to the sixteenth pole but never gave in and with one final push surged late coming back on to just miss at the wire for the win under a solid debut. CUPIDS BEST ARROW had the lead on the rail while prompted on the outside down the backstretch, disposed of the early speed rival by the five sixteenths pole, narrowly had the front end inside at the top of the lane, dug in stubbornly trying to hold off challengers outside through the stretch but faded on the fence in the final seventy yards to be a clear third in the end. WILD RED stalked in the three path between horses close to the back, made little impression three to four wide around the turn, shifted to the five path straightening out for home and finished up one paced down the lane to settle on the fringes. THAT'S A FACT settled near the rear with runners on both side while in the two path down the back straight, took the short way around the turn but could not advance on rivals, lacked running room trying to press on inside another at the furlong pole, shifted out for the late drive but could only pass a tired rival. FLORIDA VACATION pressed the pace between runners down the backstretch, was scrubbed on chasing the leader midway on the turn, could not quicken when passed by rivals on either side at the quarter pole and wilted on the rail at the furlong marker. OOKPIK was off a step slow shying out on the break, shared the rear while four deep outside of runners along the backside, made little impact going the overland route around the turn, swung out widest in the six path turning for home and showed little outside foes in the drive to the wire.
