GRAFFITI WRITER was forwardly placed going four wide under the wire for the first time, smartly took back off the leaders to sit in midfield on the rail around the first turn, made little progression allowed to just gallop along well in hand down the backside, had the rail watching the dueling trio at the five sixteenths marker beginning to get into gear, burst sharply when asked between horses in the two path taking control at the top of the stretch and overpowered rivals down the lane to win going away at the wire. ARMINO stalked close to the back in the early stages, began to lengthen stride at the three furlong pole passing runners, waited, looking for asean at the quarter pole, followed the winner two wide straightening out for home, could not quicken enough to threaten for the win by the furlong pole and fought in gamely inside to win the battle for second money late. PERFECT PLAY had a stalking trip on the fence, made little impact shifting out at the three furlong marker, rallied four wide at the quarter with the early speed runners collapsing, kept on coming in the six path down the lane, had no chance getting to the winner by the furlong pole, battled outside for the secondary share late but was out dueled in the final seventy yards. CONACHER had the rail tracking the battling twosome on the first turn through to the backstretch, moved out to I d three wide at the three furlong pole, remained in the mix in the four path in upper stretch, had little left for the late drive and flattened out by the furlong marker. DARE TO BE KING trailed the field for the first half of the race, split rivals getting out of last making a run at the three eighths marker, had the rail catching another foe at the top of the stretch and passed the leg weary early leader at the furlong pole. GLOBETROTTING tracked the contesting pair on the first turn outside, took closer order by the half, vied between runners up top three furlongs from the wire, could not continue on giving way in the three path at the quarter marker and faltered three wide in upper stretch. FOURLEGSGOOD dueled inside setting a brisk tempo on the first turn, disposed of the outside early speed foe by the half, was nudged for more holding on up top on the rail in the far turn, was collated outside with a quarter mile to go, offered no resistance having little energy left from his early efforts and emptied out inside rivals at the furlong marker. KING PUTT forced the quick pace to the backstretch, gave way under a drive fighting up top by the half, stopped abruptly backing through the field at the three furlong pole, lost touch with the pack at the top of the stretch, cantered home and walked off.
