Footnotes
CANDY COATED broke inwards on the start, had a slim lead inside two others down the backside, continued to maintain a narrow advantage on the rail battling up top around the bend, spurted away shaving the corner and won quite easily when pulling away with authority in the late stages for the frontrunning tally. SPIRIT OF INDY had the three path inside another in the middle of the pack, continued to sit posed all alone in midfield behind d a wall of dueling runners at the five sixteenths marker, shifted from the two pathturning for home to have clear run four wide at the eighth pole with the winner long gone but rushed home nonetheless to get just up at the finish line outside besting the rest for the runners up award. TOO MANY AMYS was brushed by the outside runner leaving the gate, had a good set up sitting isolated watching the engaged trio early on, sat poised drafting just behind the contesting twosome on the oval, hugged the rail very much in-the mix at the top of the stretch, was no match for the runaway winner by the furlong marker and just got picked up on the outside at the wire for second money taking home a clear third place share instead. SUPER RED had the fence close to the back, narrowed the margin on the turn coming with a good rally three wide at the quarter pole, moved out to the five path for the stretch run and finished up with a good late kick outside to nab a minor role right at the wire. DANCE WITH ME BABY was on the outside of another in the four path settling in mid-division, made a sharp move swooping around runners four wide in midturn, loomed boldly making a bid for the lead outside in the three path in upper stretch but could not sustain the run and stalled between horses in the final furlong losing a minor placing g at the finish line e to an oncoming outside foe. PHEW was unhurried at the tail end down the backstretch, passed a outside foe heading into the turn, made no further gain going two wide throughout the turn, shifted to the six path straightening out and had late interest when running on passing a couple down the lane. MOSCATO BABE vied between runners from the onset, threw it down two wide outside another around the turn fighting on the front end, gave way arguing for the lead two wide with horses on both sides by upper stretch and tired having the four path through the drive to the wire. KINTYRE broke inwards getting slammed taking the worst of the collision from the inside runner on the start, improved down the backside watching the front four by the half, kept pace under a busy ride going three wide around the bend, shifted to the five path and while fading between runners had to be checked losing her path to the drifting out inside foe at the furlong pole and could not be a factor afterwards. C AND J ON HOLIDAY co-trailed on the outside at the half, was relegated to the rear by the seven sixteenths pole, lagged at the back going three wide around the oval and could only manage a pass a weary straggler in the final eighth of a mile. RESENTLESS PURSUIT exchanged bumps when breaking outwards on the start, recovered to prompt the pace three deep along the backside, gave futile chase two wide on the contesting pair on the turn, was engulfed by runners on every side leaving the five sixteenths pole and had little left for the stretch run when emptying out at the furlong marker.
