SEMPER LIBER broke sharply and went straight to the lead, set the pace from off the rail in the clear, was asked at the quarter pole, responded and turned away a challenger while being kept to task. SPEIGHTS WILL tracked just off the pace inside, saved ground, kept on to get up in late stretch for place. SLAYSTER stalked the eventual winner, took closer order turning into upper stretch looming a threat but lacked the needed late kick, pulled up past the wire and was transported off the track via equine ambulance. SUNSET SKIPPY settled last but one into the turn, saved ground on that bend, came out a bit in the stretch and improved between runners. KING RONIN pursued from between foes mid-pack on the turn, shifted four wide turning into upper stretch, failed to rally. FUN FELLA trailed, saved ground on the turn, passed tired foes inside in the stretch. WAITINGFORAHOLIDAY was off the pace early, moved up a little bit three to four wide on the turn, failed to menace. FIN DEL MUNDO stalked from outside the second flight, went three to five wide on the turn, weakened in the stretch.
