LADY ON THE NILE rated kindly tucked in on the rail behind the engaged lead duo, shifted out three wide coming with a run entering the stretch and when asked for more at the furlong pole found another gear in the late running wearing down a stubborn leader on deep stretch for the late charging win. AUSSIE HYPER was content to sit outside shadowing the pace setter for the first half a mile, moved in forcing the issue outside heading the last bend, poked a head in front two wide outside at the quarter pole, spurted away to a clear advantage on the fence by the furlong marker but just could not withstand the late charge by the winner outside in the final seventy yards. O WOW had only one runner beaten in the early going, began to make a run picking up the bit shifting out three wide between horses at the quarter pole, angled to the four path straightening out for the drive and had good late energy trying to close on the top duo in the final furlong all the while fending off an outside rival for the third place share in the process. MADAM GWEN was unhurried seeing the field for the first part of this two turn event, started to pick up the bit circling some runners while going three to four outside foes, swung out widest to the five path carrying momentum and finished up willingly down the lane just missing getting up outside at the wire for the show money. FOXY DIVA travelled in tandem with ani side foe sitting in mid-packin the early stages, travelled three wide between runners midway through the final bend just trying to hold position, shifted inwards to the two path for the stretch run could not find more to pose a threat in the late running. I'M TENACIOUS had the early lead setting an honest pace, remained up top narrowly while slackening the tempo on the fence along the backside, surrendered the front end to the outside rival at the quarter pole, could not offer a counter shaping the corner for the stretch drive and wilted on the rail in the final eighth of a mile. HOLIDAY WITH AMY had the inside position from another sitting in midfield, saved ground through the last turn but could not quicken with outside foes at the quarter pole and came up empty in the three path turning for home.
