ATERYA exchanged bumps just after the start, settled outside off the pace, advanced three then four wide on the turn, fanned six wide into upper stretch, struck the lead outside the eighth pole, edged clear under steady handling. SILVER COAST advanced outside three to four wide on the turn, made a brief bid in upper stretch but was overtaken by the winner soon after, proved no match for that one. STARSHIP SALUTE was bounced around between foes at the start, raced inside into the turn off the pace, fanned seven wide into upper stretch, ran on to get up for show honors. ALPHA GAMMA GIRL bobbled slightly at the start, switched outside a rival and advanced up the backstretch to chase from between foes heading past the half, was asked by the quarter pole, moved out further turning into upper stretch, was unable to pose a late threat and lost the nod for third. DWIGHT chased from inside, went evenly and made no bid. MAKINMOMMAPROUD reared at the start, trailed well back, came out eight wide in mid- to late-stretch and showed some late interest. BANK EMPIRE bumped with the outside foe a couple times just after the start, moved quickly from between foes to the lead to set the pace, was shadowed by rivals then challenged leaving the turn, came out in upper stretch, turned up empty. STORMOVER THE NILE was bumped at hte start, pressed two to three wide, dropped off the leader on the turn shifting in on that bend then faded in the stretch.
