Footnotes
DISSECTOLOGIST settled off the pace, advanced inside leaving the backstretch, moved out late on the turn gaining on the leader, took over in upper stretch, drew clear, held sway under steady handling. NAMEOFTHEGAME came in at the start but was quick to make the lead, moved clear and shifted in setting the pace near the inside, was urged at the top of the stretch but readily overtaken, kept on gamely and just saved the place. CLASSIC DANCER came in at the start, chased in behind inside but off the rail, kept on in the lane, just missed second. STAR SCHOLAR was in a bit tight in the early going, chased near mid-pack outside three to five wide, was ridden three furlongs out, fanned nine wide into upper stretch, gained outside then evened out late. BIG BABY HENRY was forced into a rival and squeezed back soon after the start, settled off the pack, began to advance from between foes two to three wide early on the turn, moved out leaving that bend coming to the top of the stretch six deep, faced some traffic in mid-stretch altering out near the sixteenth pole, finished strongly but too late. GUILDSMAN (FR) was outpaced early, forced outside foes three to five wide on the turn, fanned ten deep coming out of that bend, kicked on mildly outside to improve position. BET N WIN lacked early speed, saved ground through the turn, improved inside foes. LEGAL ATTACK (GB) settled mid-pack inside, came out in mid-stretch, evened out late. HARPER CITY was off the pace and removed from the rail in about the three path early, was encouraged on the turn, came out a bit late on that bend, steadied in upper stretch lacking room, found a clear path by mid-stretch and ran on. MIDNIGHT ARKLE was in tight at the start, raced toward the back off the inside mostly three to five wide, ran on with mild late interest but far too late. EXCHANGE DAY chased from between foes up close but off the pace, faded in late stretch. ITS JUST MONEY got away slowly and was awkward into stride, was outpaced early at the rear racing far back, passed a couple tired foes. EXECUTIVE SEARCH was forced in at the start, chased from outside up close, drifted five wide into upper stretch, faded. HARDWARE GAP chased four to five wide, floated eight wide leaving the turn, came up empty.
