SUPER SICILY shifted in early settling off the pace, moved out on the turn racing between foes coming to the top of the stretch, bid in mid-stretch, took a narrow lead, dueled between foes and held. VERDEJO tracked from inside, moved out off the rail for the stretch run making a bid in upper stretch taking a narrow brief lead, was headed past the furlong marker, fought on gamely inside. SOCIETY'S KAT settled outside off the pace, was forced out turning for home fanning seven wide, gained outside to reach contention but was fended off late. GARNET AND GOLD got away well but was soon overtaken, stalked or pressed from outside, was carried out leaving the turn making a bid and taking a very narrow and very brief lead, steadily weakened. OL' BLONDIE dropped back early racing at the rear outside, shifted in late on the turn, was never a threat. CANADIANSWEETHEART moved to the lead inside, set the pace, drifted out leaving the turn, came up empty.
