Footnotes
AVA'S PRINCESS was coaxed forward, made the lead inside a rival after three-sixteenths, set the pace shadowed by that one, edged clear on the turn, was overtaken in mid-stretch, fought back and came again inside to prevail. DADDY'S SECRET tracked from inside, moved out beginning to advance at the five-sixteenths, struck a narrow lead in upper stretch, appeared in command in mid-stretch but was outfinished. REGAL AFFAIR broke a step slowly, switched out, advanced outside foes four to five wide on the turn, lugged in in upper stretch, kept on. DEANNA was off the pace between runners, shifted in late on the turn, improved position inside. GEORGIA RAIN chased three wide, clipped heels behind past the quarter pole, ran on. KASUMI'S GHOST broke out a bit and was under urging, chased outside three to four wide, dropped back late on the turn, kept on in the stretch. FLY TRUE NORTH bobbled slightly at the start, lacked early speed at the rear, came out three wide and was in a bit tight at the quarter pole, was never near enough to threaten. BAYTOWN MUNNY angled in past the gap, saved ground on the turn, was not a factor. NILE PASSAGE chased outside four wide briefly, dropped back. SILENT PAL got away well and had the early lead, continued to chase from outside a foe two to three wide, weakened on the turn shifting out past the quarter pole and clipping heels in the process, stumbled badly and lost the irons, was not persevered with thereafter. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REGARDING #6 SILENT PAL AND #8 GEORGIA RAIN MIDWAY THROUGH THE FAR TURN NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
