LIKELY STORY broke in a bit of a tangle on the start, settled into a good rhythm three deep on the outside in the second trio of runners watching the lead three down the backside, was rein back getting to the rail at the half, saved ground on the turn patiently waiting for the cue to move looking for a path midway around the turn, moved in finding the three path at the top of the stretch, angled outside finally getting a clear lane six wide outside foes at the furlong pole and drove on by under only very little urging to edge away for the win in the final seventy yards. FLEURY had a good position under a snug hold on the rail watching the contesting duo early on, sat poised in the two path behind the embattled duo around the oval, closed in three wide at the top of the lane, split runners to get her head in front at the sixteenth pole but it wasn't enough late to fend off the winners late outside charge in deep stretch. KINZIE GIRL prompted the pace on the outside down the back straight, battled outside for the lead going head-to-head around the bend, shifted out four wide in upper stretch, ran on willingly between rivals at the furlong pole, could not match strides with the top two in deep stretch but finished up well to be a clear third at the wire. TRACY ARM lacked early foot plus was climbing, seeing the field down the backside, started to figure things out midway on the turn closing the gap on the group by the quarter pole, angled to the four path for the stretch run, darted to the rail at the furlong pole reaching for more ground and had good late energy splitting horses in the two path in deep stretch to garner a minor placing in the end. BEAUTIFUL THINGS travelled in hand having a slim advantage on the inside down the backstretch, dueled on the rail throughout the turn, narrowly had the lead inside runners two wide turning for home, could not continue with the outside rivals bearing down at the furlong pole and wilted at the sixteenth pole. SUPERFLY CHICK was reluctant to load prior to the start, vied between rivals in the beginning, took back to track the contesting pair between foes at the half, inched up on the turn when scrubbed on for more at the quarter pole, angled out five wide for the stretch drive, then to the six path at the furlong pole but failed to fire in the late running. SAMARTINA (FR) kept a close eye on the lead twosome in the three path down the backside, ran evenly going three wide outside rivals on the turn, swung out widest in the six path straightening out for home, had little to give late and folded at the furlong marker.
