MAMBA ON THREE tracked inside, moved along the rail to the lead by the five-sixteenths, kicked clear turning into upper stretch, held safe. WET AND WILD shifted in after the start bothering some rivals, stalked in behind, was forced out from four to six wide on the turn, kept on for place outside a rival closing the gap on the leader. HARPER CITY exchanged contact at the start then was bumped and bothered soon after and steadying in the process, settled at the back near the inside, moved out coming to the quarter pole outside a rival, kept on inside a runner in the stretch but needed more to get past for place. APRIL DE VELP was bumped after the start, raced off the pace saving ground inside, ran on evenly. AWESOME CRUSADER was forced in after the start bumping a rival, chased from off the inside but was outpaced early, steadied nearing the half when in tight, went three wide on the turn and checked on heels past the quarter pole, ran on in the stretch. CADFAEL got away well, soon led, set the pace from off the rail, drifted five wide into upper stretch and weakened. BORDER TOWN lacked early speed, advanced outside on the turn floating from six to eight wide, failed to rally in the stretch. NAPA SPIRIT (IRE) exchanged bumps at the start and soon after steadying slightly between foes, chased mid-division moving out heading into the turn, advanced between foes five wide past the three-eighths, floated seven wide into upper stretch, failed to rally. HIGHLAND SOCIETY was coaxed at the start taking a brief early lead then pressing momentarily from inside but off the fence, dropped off the leader and switched out at the half, chased three to four wide, drifted in then was guided out late on the turn, faded in the lane. FOLLOWING AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF HARPER CITY AGAINST WET AND WILD ALLEGING INTERFERENCE NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
