Footnotes
KEKOA rated in behind near the rail, made a swift move between foes near the half to take closer order then another rapid move between foes nearing the five-sixteenths taking a narrow lead soon after that marker, vied inside a foe then shook clear of that one turning for home, was challenged in late stretch by an outside rival but gamely held that one to prevail. CIUNAS broke outwardly, settled outside at the rear, was three to five wide throughout advancing outside foes on the far turn, gained steadily in the stretch, just missed. SEDBURYS GHOST was between foes into the first turn then taken back early on that bend settling off the second flight, switched out heading up the backstretch, advanced four to five wide passing the three-eighths, bid at the five-sixteenths in tandem with and outside the eventual winner, contended till the top of the stretch, could not keep up with the winner, chased that one home but could make no headway. STRATUS settled inside at the rear, saved ground, angled five to six wide leaving the far turn, improved position. DARK SCREEN stumbled at the start, was prominent inside then steadied slightly in behind the leader shifting in entering the first turn, rated in behind up the backstretch, moved out a bit on the second turn to advance past the tiring pacesetter, failed to rally. DEWOLF was up close outside the second flight, stalked mostly three to four wide, dropped back late on the far turn and faded. SHINIGAMI exchanged a brush at the start, moved forward and pressed the pace from outside, was encouraged to keep up past the three-eighths but had no response and retreated. MYMATHES CORRECT hit the gate and exchanged light contact at the start, was strongly urged from the start heading into the first turn, shifted in entering that bend with the lead, set the pace inside shadowed by a rival, was overtaken past the five-sixteenths, came up empty.
