Footnotes
MIA MITOLE stalked near the rear on the fence, started to pick up runners three deep at the half, made a strong rally circling foes three wide around the far turn, loomed a menacingly presence in the three path straightening out for home, grinded away on the outside at the furlong pole and just got the better from the determined pacesetter to get the head down right at the line for the victory. SUNLIT was loose on the lead going into the first turn setting a moderate pace, continued to moved well isolated up top quickening the tempo along the backside, still rolled along uncontested on the far turn but by a shrinking margin with a quarter mile to run, had company on the outside by the furlong pole, battled stubbornly not yielding inside to the wire but lost in a tight photo for the win. BEACH CRICKET travelled inside another rivals sitting in mid-division, started to pick up the bit on the fence at the half, had to be checked briefly at the three eighths marker losing momentum on the rail, smartly re-rallied shifting out three wide at the quarter pole, gathered more speed in the five path outside horses at the top of the stretch and closed in belatedly to be a distant third at the wire. LOVE TO DREAM drafted behind the leader around the first of two turns, settled into stride watching the front two rivals down the backstretch, narrowed the margin having the run on the rail around the second bend to be in the mix two wide in upper stretch, could not go with the lead duo by the furlong pole and faded slightly in the late running to settle for a minor placing in the end. MANY MO KISSES travelled in the three path in midfield outside another foe in the early stages, made no progression three wide outside horses on the final bend, moved to the four path at the top of the lane but could not get involved in the stretch running. FROGINAPOND leapt up at the start seeing the field in the beginning, remained at the rear down the backside, closed the gap on the group taking the short way around the bend by the quarter pole, skimmed the fence catching a straggler turning for home by could not factor any further in the late stages. CHERVONARUTA tracked the pacesetter three wide on the outside of another heading into the first turn, sat all alone in the second spot content to sit back off the lone speed down the backside, was urged for more run at the five sixteenths pole to go after the frontrunner, offered little response being passed on each side by rivals at the quarter pole and emptied out three wide turning for home.
