MINIMUM FORTY was away alertly seizing control from the onset, remained up top but only by slim margin with the rider still in the saddle on the fence throughout the turn, was nudged for more two wide at the top of the lane, quickly opened up by the furlong pole, stayed on the incorrect lead to the wire but still increased the winning margin at the finish line. KATHERINE'S CUB travelled three deep keeping a close eye on the frontrunner, kept pace in the second pairing outside through the turn, moved in to be in the hunt in the four path turning for home and chased the winner in vain down the stretch while easily besting the rest for the runners up share at the wire. SILENT STRIKE stalked close to the back of the pack on the outside, rallied three wide circling runners at the five sixteenths pole, swung out widest in the five path at the top of the lane and ran on willingly to get up late outside another just before the line to capture the show award. LET'S GO SOUPER tracked the pacesetter just outside in the two path, closed in to argue for the lead outside around the oval, bid three wide at the top of the stretch between rivals but was repelled by the winner who had plenty left by the furlong marker and weakened in the late running to settle on the fringes in the end. ANGEL DANIELLE was away slowly spotting the field on the break, recouped through the backside to sit in midfield on the rail by the half, settled in the second flight on the fence early on in the turn, was roused for more at the five sixteenths pole but was losing forward position by the quarter marker, hugged the rail fighting back in with a chance for a share in upper stretch but lacked a rally inside horses in the last eighth of a mile. CRUMLIN FASHION trailed on the inside down the back straight, was eager fighting the riders restraint at the half, was roused for more midway around the bend taking closer order by the quarter pole but had no finish to offer in the two path in the stretch drive.
