Footnotes
PRETTY LIZA narrowly had her head in front along the backside, dueled on the rail around the turn still having a slim lead, shifted out to the three path clinging up front turning for home, kept finding more under a busy ride at the furlong pole and prevailed at the wire for the frontrunning score. CALL ME KAYKAY was part of the back trio while stalking on the rail, was roused at the half to stay interested down the backside, picked up the bit passing foes on the outside at the five sixteenths pole, shifted out in the six path for the drive to the wire, had a solid late charge closing in with every stride in the final eighth of a mile but could not get to the winner in time. AINT NO GIRLY GIRL had a good spot on the outside watching the contesting duo, moved in to bid three wide at the quarter pole when encouraged by a right handed crop, angled out to the five path in the thick of things straightening out for home, evened out at the sixteenth pole and finished up well enough, easily holding for the show award. BERTHA shared the rear on the inside nearing the half mile marker, started to make a rally picking up runners outside coming to the quarter pole, had a good run on the rail coming on through the lane and got up in the last jump to be a fringe player in the end. FAULTFINDER had a tracking trip on the rail in the beginning, was nestled behind the contesting trio on the turn waiting for the cue at the quarter pole, found a seam four wide between foes posing threat at the top of the lane, faded by the furlong marker and was just picked up on the inside right at the wire losing a minor share. EARENDEL prompted the issue on the outside early on, continued to be a thorn in the leaders side outside batting around the oval, had enough giving way fight up top four wide turning for home and little tiring by the furlong marker. ABINO BAY co-trailed on the outside of another runner coming up to the half, lagged behind the group running around the bend, moved out to the five path for the stretch drive and passed tired runners in upper stretch. FORE FIVE BUCKS sat all alone in midfield by the half, had little to offer on the turn retreating by the five sixteenths pole and came up empty in the two path in upper stretch.
