YUKON STRIKER was forced in at the start, moved forward up the backstretch near the inside, steadied past the five-sixteenths and altered out to avoid a rival, came three to four wide past the quarter pole into upper stretch under urging and with aim, soon took a narrow lead outside the furlong marker, was kept busy and edged clear late. WINE AFTER WHISKEY was a bit reluctant to load, urged forward to take the lead from inside a rival after the opening furlong, was pressured through the turn, put away that rival but was soon challenged by the winner, overtaken by that one in upper stretch, fought on but was no match while clearly second best. SIENNA AURA was lightly bumped at the start, tracked from inside, saved ground early on the turn in behind the leaders and inside foes, began moving out near the quarter pole, steadied nearing the top of the stretch and altered back inside, ran on and saved show honors. ROLE PLAY was in a bit tight at the start, moved forward between foes under early encouragement, continued to advance outside about four wide on the turn, checked and altered out past the five-sixteenths losing substantial ground, kept on in the lane to gain late but just missed third. MR. PERFECT came in a bit when strongly urged at the start, lacked significant early speed, shifted in leaving the backstretch, saved ground on the turn, moved out a bit in upper stretch, ran on evenly. NOISY CRICKET lacked early speed racing off the inside, came out a bit in the stretch and showed mild late interest. TWIST OF SUGAR broke sharply, led for the opening furlong then was overtaken by an inside rival and pressed that one, was encouraged along near the three-eighths, dropped back in the stretch and faded. CROSBY was bumped in at the start then again soon after, chased from off the inside, dropped back between foes on the turn moving out five wide coming into upper stretch and faded. YORKTON'S LEGACY bumped a rival at the start, was in tight and pinched back soon after, lacked early speed, was taken up and altered out past the five-sixteenths. BOBCAYGEON bumped a rival at the start then was forced into that same foe soon after, chased outside a foe off the leading pair, fell past the five-sixteenths, was transported off the track via equine ambulance. METRO KING lacked early speed, fell over a stricken rival, walked off. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
