BALLS IN UR COURT was away alertly having a narrow advantage inside in the beginning, shook loose for a clear lead under a brisk wind aided pace at the half, continued to comfortably roll along increasing the margin up top around the oval and cruised in for the win with mild urging by the rider at the sixteenth pole. PRETTY GOOD JOKE had the rail position tracking the contesting duo early down the backstretch, edged up on the fence throughout the turn, posed the only threat three wide turning for home, was no match for the winner who had plenty left at the furlong pole and finished up easily besting the rest for the runners up share at the wire. JINX ME broke a step slow on the start, was then allowed to gather herself into stride well behind the field down the backstretch, saved ground starting to get into gear closing the gap on the turn by the quarter pole, swung out widest in the five path coming with a good rally outside of rival down the lane and got up for the show money by deep stretch. ROSIEPOSIE travelled in midfield three deep down the back straightaway, inched up around the bend outside of rivals three wide with a quarter mile remaining, angled out to the five path at the top of the stretch and could only finish up mildly losing the battle for third late and settling for a minor role instead in the end . GET OUT THE VOTE settled between horses in the second flight along the backside, could not quicken with the lead group at the five sixteenths pole, had a mild spurt two wide in upper stretch fighting for a small piece of the prize coming to the furlong marker but evened out in the late running inside. SCARY SPEEDY pressed the issue on the outside in the early going, could not match strides with the winner who was clearing off at the half, chased the frontrunner in vain throughout the turn, had little left to offer four wide in the stretch drive and folded between runners in upper stretch.
