PET SOUNDS was allowed the gather himself trailing in the early stages, started to make a move reaching for more ground splitting runners at the quarter pole, angled out four wide full of run in upper stretch, grinded away on the embattled duo in the final furlong on the outside and got up in the shadow of the wire for the late running win. BET N WIN was in hand on the fence having a good spot watching the contesting duo , waited for the cue to go drafting behind the lead pair midway around the final bend, moved in making a bid two wide in upper stretch, took the lead between foes at the sixteenth pole but was nabbed by the winner outside at the wire. AWE INSPIRED was nudged along assuming command in the two path early on, narrowly maintained a slim advantage on the fence while hounded outside down the backstretch, edged away getting the better of the early pace rival by the quarter pole, was headed outside at the top of the kane, stubbornly fought u til the end but gave way grudgingly in deep stretch being on the losing end inside of a three way win finish. THREE SONNY SIDEUP tracked the contesting pair outside in the second flight early on, settled all alone in midfield down the backside, kept pace on the far turn with the lead trio at the five sixteenths pole, shifted three wide for the drive and was gaining gradually through the stretch garnering a minor share at the finish while just behind the dueling threesome at the wire. VOLCANIC travelled four wide outside of horses prompting the pace around the first turn, continued to all,y the pressure outside of the frontrunner along the ba side, was hard ridden through the far turn but gave way up top by the quarter pole, swung out to the six path turning for home, had little left to give and wilted by the furlong pole. SUGAR IT'S ELI had the inside position close to the back, was ahead of only one runner that being the eventual winner down the backside, could not pickup the bit inside of rivals two wide on the far turn and had no finish to give throughout the stretch. MODDASSAH stalked near the rear outside another, could not keep up to others while seeing the field three wide outside horses at the quarter pole and came up empty, never being a factor in the stretch finish.
