ROCK HARD ROSE broke outwards on the start but still had the lead getting to the rail when entering the backstretch, travelled smartly in hand opening up at the three-furlong pole, was loose up top well in control around the bend and had more when called upon to easily hold for the gate to wire score. DANCIN MARY MARIE travelled three deep watching the front two runners, mounted a rally four wide outside of horses at the five sixteenths pole creeping closer with a quarter mile from home, posed the only threat in the three path at the top of the lane but could not get to the winner in the final furlong and dug in in deep stretch to just last for the place share outside at the finish line. FAULTFINDER settled between horses in the middle of the pack, improved in the two path with rivals on each side three furlongs out, could not keep up to the lead duo at the quarter pole but did find more in the late running and charged up the fence in the final furlong to almost get the runners up share inside at the wire. MALIBU BETTY broke in at the start, shared the rear inside another in the early going, started to get into gear two wide leaving the three eighths pole inside a rival, continued to creep closer three wide around the turn, shifted to the four path turning for home and finished up one paced in the stretch settling for a minor role in the end. I LOVE PRESENTS had the rail position in midfield, tried to drive up the fence but was in tight at the seven sixteenths marker having to be steadied, lost momentum at the three furlong marker to be at the rear in midturn, hugged the rail at the top of the stretch and passed tired ones in the final furlong. FROGINAPOND co-trailed on the outside down the back straight, offered a brief run three wide circling foes at the three furlong pole, shifted out widest in the five for the drive unable to sustain the run in upper stretch and yielded outside by the furlong pole. FLORIDA VACATION chased the frontrunner outside along the backside, could not keep up when passed on both sides at the three furlong pole, retreated throughout the turn and emptied out two wide in upper stretch.
