FIRE AND WINE was coaxed forward while shifting in soon after the start, set the pace inside always in the clear, was encouraged a bit past the quarter pole as a rival drew nearer, responded by widening in upper- to mid-stretch, was kept to task and held safe. MILITARY TIME was forwardly-positioned heading into the first turn shifting in about three then two wide and nearer the fence at the six- and one-half, tracked in behind the leader and eventual winner saving ground on the far turn, was encouraged a bit past the three-eighths, swung out four wide for the drive, proved on match for the winner but secured the place. IMYOURMEDICINEMAN was bumped after the start, settled at the rear inside a foe, dropped back to last, switched out to advance outside foes on the far turn, came past the quarter pole four wide, kept on outside to get up for show. DIXIE LAW got away well, stalked the eventual winner two to three wide, was urged at the five-sixteenths, could not kick on and lost third. AMORE MIO was carried in at the start, saved ground on the first turn near mid-pack, dropped back inside to trail, angled eight wide coming out of the far turn and improved position. DEPUTY CURLIN was forced in and steadied soon after the start, was caught three wide in the early going racing off the pace, shifted nearer the inside saving some ground on the far turn, failed to rally. SPEIGHTS WILL was caught outside four wide through the first turn, was a bit nearer inside up the backstretch, moved back out four then five deep on the far turn, was never near enough to threaten. BUIUM was forced into a rival and steadied slightly after the start, raced outside at the rear two to three wide, took slightly closer order up the backstretch, shifted in near the quarter pole, made no bids. NAVY STREET switched out off the inside in the early going, pursued from outside rivals off the leader up the backstretch, dropped back three wide on the far turn and faded.
