TABLOID MATERIAL settled outside mid-pack, fanned six wide into upper stretch advancing on the leaders, drifted in through mid- to late-stretch taking command near the sixteenth pole and edging clear. SECRET LOAD exchanged a bump at the start, settled toward the back off the inside, came out seven wide in upper stretch, was gaining late. ARAMI'S FACTOR sped clear, set the pace from off the rail, kept on in the lane but lost place late. HAPPY VALENTINE bumped a rival at the start, chased near the inside off the leading pair, angled five wide at the top of the stretch in range of the leader, lacked the needed late kick. LUDICROUS was bumped between foes and squeezed at the start, settled off the pace, raced between foes into upper stretch five wide but stepped on the brakes and altered in as an inside rival came out, failed to rally thereafter. SOCIETY'S KAT switched out, chased the leader from outside, was under urging by the five-sixteenths, weakened in mid- to late-stretch. MADAM GWEN raced off the pace inside and made no impact. FLIP FLOPS stumbled badly at the start, trailed, was not persevered with in the stretch.
