Footnotes
NICKI IS A BREEZE broke sharp for the lead, utilized the inside post to comfortably dictate terms on the rail going into the first bend, galloped along with little pressure from the outside rival down the back straight, edged away for a clear advantage while still in hand at the three eighths pole, opened up a commanding lead when nudged for more at the top of the stretch and had plenty left for the drive to win easily when crossing the finish line for the front running tally. MIA MITOLE tossed her head up leaving the gate, settled on the fence inside of two rivals watching the front duo in the early stages, was roused making an inside rally at the five sixteenths pole to go after the unopposed leader, shifted to the two path posing the only threat to the winner in upper stretch, was no match by the furlong marker and finished up a clear but non threatening second best at the wire. LADY IZZY had an outside path going three wide on the first turn tracking the front duo, made little movement still three deep on the outside down the back straight, could not go with the front two rivals in midturn still three wide and in the four path in the drive to the wire finished up mildly to be a distant third in the end. AUSSIE HYPER hounded the pacesetter outside in the first of two turns, continued to be content shadowing the leader outside along the backside, could not keep up by the three furling pole with the winner, had the two path cornering for home but was one paced down the lane saving for a minor placing outside a rival in the late running. MAJESTIC APPEAL travelled between horses keeping tabs on the front twosome for the first half of this two turn event, was urged on for more having foes on either side at the three furlong pole, offered little response through the far turn backing away, skimmed the fence at the top of the stretch but lacked a finish in the final furlong inside trying to duel for a minor award
