Footnotes
COMPTON had the rail position inside of two others in mid-pack, dropped back a touch at the half, patiently progressed inside rivals midpoint of the last turn, angled out four wide full of run turning for home and doggedly wore down the lead three foes one by one on the outside inching away for the victory in the final seventy yards. PROFESSOR RELOAD travelled in midfield having to be checked briefly nearing the quarter pole losing momentum, improved outside foes four deep at the half, offered a sharp turn of foot swooping around runners four wide on the far turn, seized command in the three path coming to the furlong pole but could not withstand the late charge by the winner in the final seventy yards outside and was caught in deep stretch. ARMINO settled on the fence near the rear, advanced steadily on the rail downtrend backside, continued to move forwardly edging up taking the short way around the final turn, shifted out three wide with Simon the leader, darted to the rail getting a seam dueling for the lead inside at the furlong marker but was outkicked for the top two placings and held well at the wire for the show money instead. HIGHLY POTENT was hustled on the rail having a slim advantage on the first of two turns, moved well in hand pressing the issue in the fence down the backside, regained control by the half, opened up on the group at the three eighths marker, was clinging 9th the lead with rivals bearing down on both sides three wide in uppper stretch and could not find more late when faced between foes in the final furlong to settle for the minors in the end. LOST STAR travelled three wide close to the back in the beginning, trailed the field while outside in the four path along the backstretch, continued a wide journey circling outside the tiring early leader in the four oath on the far turn at the quarter pole and some some late interest in the stretch drive. PARADISE PERFECT had a good spot initially isolated sitting behind the contesting trio, shifted out three wide on the first turn to be in mid-pack down the backside, was hard ridden but could not quicken with rivals making a rally on both sides at the five sixteenths pole and failed to menace five wide in the stretch running. BLONDINA'S BOY was roused in the beginning vying up top with challengers on either side, poked her head in front outside early into the backstretch, surrendered the front by the half, was under a ride but was going the wrong way midway on the final turn and emptied out on the fence by upper stretch. BLACK GODDESS was stacked three wide in the conversation up front heading into the first bend, tracked the engaged duo outside along the back straightaway, backed away abruptly between foes at the seven sixteenths marker to be at the rear on the far turn by the quarter pole and had little to offer in the stretch drive.
