YORKTON'S HONOUR bumped a rival at the start, tracked in behind near the inside, came out in upper stretch with aim and under urging, continued drifting out past the furlong marker, kept on late and got the nose down at the wire. CONNOR came in at the start, was quick to make the lead, set the pace inside, led them into upper stretch in the clear, was nailed at the wire. ITS IN THE CARDS stumbled into a rival at the start, settled off the pace racing mostly three to four wide, swung out eight deep turning for home, was forced to move out a bit by a drifting rival in late stretch, secured show honors. SLUGGERNAUT was sandwiched between foes at the start, settled off the pace outside, fanned nine wide leaving the far turn, was forced out in late stretch as rivals moved out. STRATUS bumped a rival at the start, stalked from mid-pack, was within striking distance three to four wide on the far turn, floated seven wide into upper stretch, lacked the needed late kick. FUN FELLA was bumped at the start, raced just a bit rank in the early going along the inside, saved ground through both turns, ran on late but needed more. SILVER RALEIGH stalked three wide racing just off the lead, was under urging from between foes outside the five-sixteenths, lacked the needed late kick. HIGHLAND PEAK was in just a hair tight and a step slow at the start, settled at the back, swung ten wide into upper stretch, was never near enough to threaten. FOLLOWING AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDERS OF SLUGGERNAUT AND ITS IN THE CARDS AGAINST YORKTON'S HONOUR ALLEGING INTERFERENCE, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
