AWESOME CRUSADER had an inside tracking position, waited for the cue to move on the fence midway around the turn, shifted out three wide in upper stretch pouncing on the leader by the furlong pole and stormed on by with no resistance in the final sixteenth of a mile to win going away impressively with a late turn of foot. MAMBA ON THREE had a slim lead inside a runner in the early going, took the short way around the turn still holding onto a narrow advantage inside, spurted away for the early speed foe on the fence in upper stretch but had no answer inside when the winner powered past in the final sixteenth, still comfortably besting the rest for the pjs e share at the finish line. RYE'S MY GUY was brushed on the inside at the break, sat isolated in midfield down the backside, improved mildly outside of foes going three to four wide around the bend, swung out widest in the six path turning for home finding his best stride late and with a good charge in the final furlong was all alone at the wire being a distant third. HARPER CITY broke slow to be at the rear in the beginning, stalked near the rear at the half with runners on either side, made little impact going three wide around the oval, angled slightly on to be in the two path for the drive to the wire and had late energy splitting rivals in the final seventy yards to settle on the fringes in the end. CADFAEL broke out on the start, settled on the rail in the middle of the pack along the back straight, dropped back losing positioning at the half, took the short way closing the margin on the leaders around the bend, hugged the rail straightening out for home, fought inside for a minor share by the furlong pole but faded in deep stretch. BANKER'S HOURS trailed the field while three deep in the early stages, made little to no movement three wide through the turn, shifted out to the five path at the top of the lane and ran on gradually in the stretch but could not get involved in the late running. NAMEOFTHEGAME broke inwards on the start, forced the pace outside the leader along the backside, continued on hounding the pacesetter outside throughout the bend, gave way up top three wide at the head of the lane and folded in the two path between runners in the final eighth of a mile. HIGHLAND SOCIETY tracked in the second flight while outside another down the backstretch, kept pace with the lead duo travelling in the two path around the bend, angled out four wide between foes unable to quicken with others making a move turning for home, had little to give for the stretch run and faltered in upper stretch.
