Footnotes
DAOU was lightly bumped at the start but quick to move through inside and take the lead, set the pace, extended the advantage drawing clear inside the eighth pole and held sway while being kept to task. REGAL AFFAIR dropped back between runners early then shifted in to advance inside on the turn, came out six wide for the drive with momentum, could make no headway late on the winner but kept on to get up for place. ROSE FORTUNE came in after the start bothering a rival lightly, moved forward inside, tracked the leaders advancing willingly on the turn, moved out three wide coming past the quarter pole, came into upper stretch five wide in range, could make no headway on the winner, lost place late. LOTTA GEMS broke outwardly, advanced mildly outside five deep on the turn, ran on in the stretch while drifting in a bit. TWIST OF SUGAR got away well but bumping a rival lightly at the start, was up close pressing then stalking the eventual winner, weakened in the stretch. SOCIALLY INTACT stalked mid-pack, went four wide into the turn, steadied at the quarter pole, came out eight wide in the stretch, made no bid. SHOOT was forced in just after the start, chased inside, switched out about the seven-sixteenths to go two to three deep into the turn, came into upper stretch four to five wide, failed to rally. ALEATORIC bumped a rival at the start, was off the pace shifting in on the turn, saved ground, was never a threat. VELOCITA was a bit fractious in the gate, bumped at the start, raced a bit greenly trailing throughout.
