HURRICANE CLAIR moved clear and shifted in to about the two path to set the pace just off the rail, was shadowed late on the far turn, shook free of pursuers and drew clear, was kept to task. WAR PAINTER was forwardly-positioned outside stalking, went three to four wide throughout, edged closer coming to the quarter pole just off the eventual winner's flank but was no match for that one while fighting on outside a rival to preserve the place. SECRET LOAD settled toward the back moving out off the rail entering the first turn, advanced inside a rival on the far turn moving out three wide coming to the quarter pole with momentum and in range of the leading pair, could not kick on with the top one, fought inside for the place but lost that battle while best of the rest. ELLA IT IS tracked from inside on or just off the rail, moved between foes past the quarter pole in range of the leaders but flattened out in the stretch. SPEEDY FREEZE was two to three wide between foes entering the first turn and briefly in a bit tight, settled off the pace, went three to four deep on the far turn, failed to rally. MADAM GWEN lacked early speed bringing up the rear racing off the inside, saved some ground on the far turn, came out in the stretch and passed a tired rival. HINT shifted in moving forward, stalked the eventual winner in behind, dropped back inside and faded. MY GIRL SKY was taken back and switched out early, was then forced out a bit early on the first turn racing three then four wide up the backstretch, was asked to keep pace near the seven-sixteenths but failed to rally.
