KINZIE GIRL stumbled then was crowded at the start, recovered smartly to actually be loose on the lead clearing to the rail heading into the first turn, remained uncontested along the backside, rolled along slowing the tempo down slightly still controlling the pace throughout the last turn and under a well rated ride had more when called upon in the final furlong to comfortably hold for the win. HEART TAP veered out sharply on the break while assuming command under the wire for the very first time, was content sit back off the new leader around the first turn, continued to sit behind the pacesetter keeping a close eye along the backstretch, shifted out in the two path closing in at the quarter pole, angled three wide for the drive and gave futile chase on the winner down the lane finishing up second best at the wire. AUNTIE'S BAMBINO stalked near the rear just outside in the early stages, began to lengthen stride ranging closer three wide outside of rivals at the five sixteenths pole, swung out widest in the six path in upper stretch, kept on stubbornly trying to the wire while staying on the incorrect lead and got up for the show money outside in deep stretch.
