HEAT MERCHANT was well-placed stalking in behind, brushed with a foe attempting to squeeze between rivals at the top of the stretch, had room to bid inside the leaders in deep stretch, prevailed. RYE'S MY GUY stalked from outside, angled six wide outside rivals turning into upper stretch, bid in mid-stretch, led till inside the final sixteenth, saved the place. RY PIE broke a step slowly, advanced outside rivals on the turn fanning ten wide into upper stretch, kept on late but missed second. WET AND WILD settled mid-pack off the inside, angled nine wide at the top of the stretch, ran on. ECHO WITH LAUGHTER was urged at the start, chased the leading pair, bid outside those four wide past the quarter pole, had a narrow brief lead but lacked the needed late kick. SECRET STORM was outpaced early racing well back near inside, angled eight wide turning for home, checked between runners soon after, ran on. BOLD RELOAD saved ground inside, went evenly. KINETIC STONE had a brief early lead but was soon overtaken by an inside foe, pressed that one, began weakening leaving the turn, exchanged a brush and was squeezed back at the top of the stretch, faded in the lane. YOUR VALENTINO reared at the start, was never a threat. ABSOLUTE CHAIRMAN moved forward inside to soon take a narrow lead, contested the pace inside, was under stout urging at the five-sixteenths, drifted out leaving the turn, came up empty.
