Colonial Downs STAKES

Purse $125,000. Five And One Half Furlongs. (Outer turf) (Rail at 90 feet) For Two Year Olds. No nomination fee. $300 to enter and $300 to start. Supplementary nomination of $1,250 each (which includes entry and starting fees) may be made at the time of entry. $125,000, with 60% to the owner of the winner, 20% to second, 11% to third, 6% to fourth and 3% to fifth. Weights: Colts and Geldings, 122 Lbs. Fillies, 119 Lbs. Non-winners of a race other than maiden or claiming allowed 2 Lbs. A race other than claiming 4 Lbs. Starters and riders to be named through the entry box by the usual time of closing. This race will be limited to fourteen (14) starters. In the event more than fourteen entrants pass through the entry box, preference will be given to stakes winners, winners, then highest lifetime earnings. Any horse excluded due to the aforementioned preference shall be refunded the entry fee and supplementary nomination fee, if applicable. Trophy to the winning owner. Nominations closed Wednesday, August 20, 2025 with 39 nominations and 2 supplements. .
