Horseshoe Indianapolis (Quarter Horse) TRIALS
Purse $14,000. Four Hundred Yards. For Registered Quarter Horses, Two Years Old. Purse $14,000. Weight: 124 Lbs. Nomination and sustaining payments to be added to the Governors Stake purse of $125,000 Added. The purse will be divided 55% to the winner, 20% to second, 10% to third, 5% to fourth, 3% to fifth, 2% to sixth, 1.5% to seventh and eighth and 1% to ninth and tenth. The top 10 fastest qualifiers in the trials will remain eligible to the Governors Stakes final on Saturday, October 24, 2026. This race will be run as many times as deemed necessary. The fields will be limited to 10 starters. An Assistant Starter will be provided for each Quarter Horse.
