Louisiana Downs STAKES
Purse $250,000. One And One Eighth Miles. For Three Year Olds. No nomination fee. $2,000 to pass the entry box and an additional $2,000 to start. Supplemental nomination of $8,000 will be accepted at time of entry and includes all fees. Final entries to be made through the entry box THURSDAY, AUGUST 28TH, 2025 BY 10:00 A.M. CDT. After payment of $4,000 to all owners finishing sixth through last, 60% of the remaining purse shall be paid to the winning owner, 20% to second, 11% to third, 6% to fourth, and 3% to fifth. Weights: 124 Lbs. First preference will be given to highest lifetime earnings in Graded Stakes. Second preference to highest lifetime earnings. Lifetime earnings will be determined according to statistics provided by Equibase. This race will be limited to Fourteen (14) starters. Horses not drawing a starting position in the gate will receive a refund of the entry fee. If less than Fourteen (14) horses start, the purse money not distributed will revert to the winning owner. A trophy will be presented to the winning owner.
