Race 5 - PR. LXXII GR.CS SP DI MERANO-MEM - POST Time - 9:45AM

Win, Place, Exacta, Trifecta, Swinger

MERANO STAKES

Purse $114,030. TB Gran Corsa Siepi di Merano, another highly competitive Grade 1 over hurdles. French raider OLYMPIC STORY (3) appeals after a promising comeback in a Listed chase at Compiègne and has enough class to make his presence felt over hurdles as well. Looking back to last year†s edition, mare KAJA (2) was given a gentle comeback over this course and retains strong claims despite facing plenty of opposition, including her own stable companions. Among them, SILUTO (9) is in red-hot form and could even reverse the established pecking order. Others to consider include MAURICIUS (5), who benefits from a top-class rider, and RISK DU BRIZAIS (8) in what looks a wide-open contest. (SELECTION: 3-2-9) 2 1/2M
